Scholastic Standards, Diagnostic Genetic Sciences Program

Students admitted to the Cytogenetics Certificate Program must maintain the following standards of scholastic achievement to complete the program.
  • A grade of “C” or better must be achieved in all required DGS, MLS and AH courses
  • An overall grade point average of 2.2 in all coursework is prerequisite to entering the clinical portion of the program
In addition, the student must receive a passing rating on an affective evaluation, administered during the first half of the clinical semester, to remain in the clinical experience.
