Educating and instructing Junior Dietetic students since 1988 has been both a pleasure and a challenge for Ms. Wainwright. Current clinical settings include Long Term Care Facilities and Rehabilitation Facilities. Learning from the elderly client is a rewarding experience in so many ways. Students meet in groups of 5 or 6 and there is much time in the clinical setting to become familiar with clients, staff, medical records, and group interaction.
Ms. Wainwright has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings. This has provided her with a foundation of skills related to the nutrition care process, which includes nutrition assessment, identification of key nutrition issues, nutrition care and evaluation. Working in Private Practice with Nutrition and Wellness Counseling, LLC, Ms. Wainwright has focused on bringing health and wellness into the clinical setting.
