Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training

The Department of Allied Health Sciences and UConn Rescue, Inc. have partnered together to provide the opportunity for UConn students to receive EMT training.  UConn Rescue will provide the training each semester at both the UConn Storrs Campus and the UConn Waterbury Campus, for current UConn students!

Enroll in AH 4092 EMT (4 credits) for the EMT Training at the Storrs or Waterbury campus

  • Registration requires additional payment through uconnrescue.com. Select either Storrs campus or Waterbury campus.  After payment, a permission number to enroll in AH 4092 will be provided through email. Contact Michael.Zacchera@UConn.edu with any questions.

Withdraw and refund process for EMT course
Students may receive a full refund for the course by emailing uconnrescue@uconn.edu and withdrawing from AH 4092 in the UConn Student Administration system on or before the 10th day of classes. Requests during the 3rd and 4th week of the semester will receive a 50% refund.  Requests during the 5th through the 8th week will receive a 25% refund.  No refunds will be given after the 8th week of classes.
