Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training
Upon successful completion of the training, you will be eligible to take the certification exam from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Successful completion of the exam is required to be certified as an EMT in Connecticut. National Registry Certification is recognized by all 50 states.
Training Specifics
Must be a current UConn student
Dates/Times: January 19 - April 30, 2027
Storrs: Mondays and Wednesdays: 6-10pm; Sec. 001 Saturdays: 9am-5pm -or- Sec. 002 Sundays: 9am-5pm
Waterbury (Spring only): Mondays and Thursdays: 6-10pm and Saturdays: 8am-4pm
Training Fee: $1,475.00
The fee includes: trauma shears, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, pen light, clinical Polo Shirt, ambulance and ER shifts, and AHA BLS CPR certification
Students have the option to receive course credit by enrolling in AH 4092 EMT for 4 credits after registering.
