Biography


Angela L. LaRue is a Lecturer in the Department of Allied Health Sciences. She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Genetic Sciences (DGS) and her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Connecticut. Angela has been nationally certified with the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a Technologist in Cytogenetics since 2000 and has experience working in both clinical and research laboratories. She has been a member of the professional organization, the Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT), for over 23 years and currently serves as the Education Committee Representative for the New England Region and New York State. Angela brings with her an extensive sales, marketing and business portfolio from working at a Life Sciences Company for over 18 years.
