Biography

Danielle Johnson, MS, NREMT, is an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Allied Health Sciences on UConn’s Waterbury campus and teaches the EMT Training course. Danielle has been an EMT provider since 2004 and is currently working on finishing up her Paramedic training. Danielle has worked in a variety of pre-hospital and hospital EMS settings since 2004, currently working for the City of Ansonia and Naugatuck as an EMT. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UConn, a graduate certificate in Secondary Education from Southern CT State University, and a Master’s in Advanced Investigation-Forensic Science from the University of New Haven. Danielle joined Allied Health as an Adjunct in 2024. Danielle currently works as a teacher at a local high school and is a member of various EMS committees.
