Biography

Tamara Kaliszewski is an Assistant Professor in Residence in the Department of Allied Health Sciences on UConn’s Waterbury campus. She earned her master’s degree from George Washington University’s Physician Assistant program and practiced as a PA for twelve years, specializing in neurology, orthopedics, and chronic pain management. She taught human anatomy and physiology at Quinnipiac University and Goodwin College before joining the Allied Health Sciences department at UConn as a Lecturer and Academic Advisor in 2016. Tamara advises undergraduate students in health career preparation and course selection, teaches undergraduate courses within the Allied Health major, and coordinates experiential learning opportunities in healthcare for students on the Waterbury campus.
