Research at the Cutting Edge
In the Department of Allied Health Sciences, our internationally recognized faculty researchers put their innovation into action to improve health and quality of life for our communities. With the most active research portfolio within the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, our research pushes the boundaries of what is possible while always keeping the individual patients front of mind.

My favorite part about being an AHS Honors student was the opportunity to engage in independent research while being supported by an incredible network of faculty and peers. I especially liked uncovering meaningful patterns in the data and considering their implications for public health communication. -Isabel Ayala Rodriguez, AHS’25 Honor Student research done with Molly Waring, PhD
