Specialty Courses


Honors Specialty Courses
:

The following form is required for approval of Honors Thesis Research. It is also used to enroll in thesis research (AH 4289) and thesis writing (AH 4297W) if applicable.

  • Honors Thesis Agreement (AH 4289 Honors Research or other dept.)
  • Honors Thesis Proposal (AH 4297W Honors Thesis or other dept.)

For the above honors specialty courses, complete this Honors Course Submission Form. When approved, your thesis agreement or proposal will be approved and you will be enrolled in the AH course if applicable (must submit forms to get approval and enrollment by 10th day of classes).

Other Specialty Courses

To enroll, submit the Specialty Course Submission Form. You will need the learning objectives/syllabus before submitting this request.

When approved, you will be enrolled in the course (must submit forms to get approval and enrollment by 10th day of classes).


Allied Health Sciences Course Permission Requests

Trying to get into a class that’s full? At the instructor’s discretion, you may be granted permission to register for the course by adding your name to the waitlist.  If the course does not have a waitlist, please contact the instructor to inquire about enrolling with permission.

Fall 2026 courses with a waitlist: AH 1100, AH 2100, AH 2001, AH 3005, AH 3101, AH 3231, AH 3303, AH 4239& 4240W, AH 4243.

Waitlist is now closed. Please email the instructor.

Review process: Allied Health Sciences majors are given first consideration (Graduating Senior, Senior, Junior, etc.). Students requesting permission will be reviewed following the registration period and/or at the beginning of the semester. Students should continue to evaluate other options pending a decision. Permission number approval is not guaranteed.
